<p>An assembly for an inhalation device is provided having a storage chamber configured to hold a plurality of doses of a substance, a metering element configured to be moved with respect to the storage chamber and having, a metering chamber, wherein a sub-quantity of the substance can be retrieved from the storage chamber by means of the metering chamber when the metering element is moved in a dosing direction with respect to the storage chamber The assembly also includes a sealing member mechanically cooperating with the metering element, that has an opening which receives the metering element, a main part and a sealing lip, wherein the sealing lip and the main part define a recess, wherein the recess is arranged between the sealing lip and the main part and, wherein the sealing lip is deflectable into the recess. A method using a sealing member for mechanical cooperation with a metering element of an inhalation device is also described.</p> |
