The present invention relates to a field of satellite geolocation. More particularly, the present invention relates to a geopositioning method having a trust index implemented by a geopositioning terminal (10). According to the present invention, the positioning of a terminal (10) is estimated by geopositioning satellites (11), and the trust index is provided by the comparison with at least one pseudo distance (13) measurement recorded by at least one additional geopositioning satellite (12) which is different from those used in calculating a position of the terminal (10).
