TARGET SIMULATE EQUIPMENT PROVIDED WITH DELAY LINE FOR TESTING PERFORMANCE OF SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR

The present invention relates to target simulate equipment (TSE) for testing a performance of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and, more specifically, to TSE to which a true-time delay line (TDL) is applied in order to test a performance of SAR mounted on an aircraft over the ground. To this end, the present invention provides the TSE to which the TDL is applied for testing a performance of the SAR including the SAR which delays a target signal by using a DRFM and up-converts the target signal after an electromagnetic wave radiated from image radar is received through an RF front end and frequency is down-converted into a baseband; delays the target signal in more detail than the delay resolution of the DRFM; and transmits the target signal to a side of the image radar.
