The electrical system is coupled to an engine of the small size vehicle (e.g., a motorcycle) and includes a generator coupled to the engine for generating electric power in response to the engine. One or more lamps are coupleable to the generator and at least one horn coupleable to the generator. An electric converter device is coupled to the generator for decreasing a voltage applied to the one or more lamps by the generator to a rated lamp voltage of the one or more lamps when the at least one horn is operated.
