METAL-SUPPORTED ANION-EXCHANGE RESINS AND METHOD FOR REMEDIATING OF TOXIC ANIONS USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a method for eliminating toxic anions including perchlorates (CLO_4-) and nitrates (NO_3-) in wastewater by means of an anion-exchange resin supported with metals and, more specifically, to an anion-exchange resin supported with hydrogen-activating metals and a method for eliminating toxic anions using the same. According to the present invention, it is possible to effectively absorb and eliminate toxic anions by using reduction catalyst-supported anion-exchange resins, to recycle the anion-exchange resins with ease, and to reduce consumption of energy and a reducing agent, thereby being useful for eliminating toxic anions in an actual water purification system.
