The present invention relates to a method for synthesizing a ferrihydrite-birnessite mixture, a ferrihydrite-birnessite mixture synthesized by the method and waste water treatment method using the same. A method for synthesizing a ferrihydrite-birnessite mixture according to the present invention comprises: a step for mixing a first solution including ferrous iron and a second solution including manganese two-valent; a step which controls pH of the mixed solution for becoming alkalinity; and a step which forms a ferrihydrite-birnessite mixture by physically bonding ferrihydrite and birnessite after synthesizing ferrous iron to ferrihydrite and manganese two-valent to birnessite in the mixed solution of an alkaline condition.
