摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method for predicting metal properties, especially, to a method for predicting metal properties capable of easily predicting mechanical features of a metal material used in an aluminum wheel manufactured by a low pressure casting process. The method for predicting metal properties comprises the following steps of: generating property conversion equations according to metal materials; setting importance of the generated property conversion equations; inputting one of mechanical property values; and calculating the other mechanical property values using the inputted mechanical property value and the generated property conversion equations. In addition to, the step of setting the importance is to set the property conversion equations from a small error range to a large error range. The mechanical property values are secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS), tensile strength, yield strength, Vicker hardness, Brinell hardness, fatigue strength, impact energy, and elongation percentage.</p>
