<p>Provided are a method and an apparatus for detecting an object of radar. The apparatus for detecting an object of radar of the present invention includes: a first cluster map storing unit which stores a first cluster map periodically updated regardless of the existence of a detected object; a second cluster map storing unit which stores a second cluster map which is a cluster map when there is no signal for the object in a received signal; an adaptive cluster map generating unit which generates a third cluster map by using the minimum values of the first cluster map and the second cluster map; and a background differential signal suppressing unit which compares the third cluster map and the received signal and suppresses a noise by applying the result to a background differential signal.</p> |
