The present invention relates to a four-stage mathematics coaching learning method and, more specifically, to a mathematics coaching learning method of a four-stage self-directed new concept and a system thereof. The method forms a learning system by a storytelling method through four-stage questions on/off-line to improve the ability to systematically understand and apply math principles and concepts, thereby giving learning motivation and helping a user to solve questions by oneself. Therefore, the mathematics coaching learning method of a four-stage self-directed new concept and the system thereof which the present invention suggests include: a question providing unit which provides a question according to a math lesson unit; a question understanding unit which understands what to solve and what is given for the question provided in the question providing unit; a concept exploration unit which thinks and finds a principle and a concept which should be applied in order to solve the question understood in the question understanding unit; a learning material which comprises an application solving unit solving the question by applying the principle and the concept found by thinking in the concept exploration unit and a concept storing unit storing the principle and the concept applied in the application solving unit; and a website which comprises a login unit logging in to allow a user to repeatedly learn the principle and the concept learnt through the learning material online, a lesson unit selecting unit logging in and selecting the lesson unit, and a learning performing unit performing learning according to the selected learning unit.
