<p>The present invention relates to a novel method for the synthesis of magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles using cinnamon leaf extract. The present method comprises cinnamon leaf extract and FeCl3, FeCl2 as precursors and the solution is kept under observance for next hours and color changes of the mixture are recorded periodically. The solution is characterized using Dynamic Light Scattering analysis (DLS) and UV -Visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis). The present method for the synthesis of magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles using cinnamon leaf extract is user-friendly as well as cost-effective in nature.</p> |
