<p>The connector (1) has an external shell (5) with central housing (7) containing an insulated block (9), where the block is equipped with electric contact. The shell is realized by a molded metallic alloy e.g. aluminum based alloy or zinc based alloy e.g. ZAMAC(RTM: zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper alloy). The shell is in the form of frame with foot mounting (11) and fixation holes (13). Surface of the shell is subjected to nickel based surface treating. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a mixed shielded connector.</p> |
