The invention discloses a method and system for providing webpage information to be displayed on a webpage and displaying webpage information. The method for displaying the webpage information can include the steps of downloading a data packet from a server side in advance, and storing the data packet in local, wherein the data packet is generated through the server side according to the information to be displayed on the webpage and the preset data structure, and a part of data, meeting the requirements for the renewing the cycle and the data amount, of webpage data to be displayed are stored in the data packet; conducting local loading according to the locally-stored data packet after receiving the request for browsing the webpage information; requiring the server side for loading the webpage data, not contained in the data packet, to be displayed; conducting webpage displaying according to the locally-loaded data and the data loaded on the server side. By means of the method and system, the amount of data interaction between the user and the server side can be reduced after the user receives the browsing request, and then the webpage loading speed can be increased, and overlarge flow is prevented from being produced. |
