The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fluorescent light source device which is capable of suppressing decrease of emission efficiency even in cases where high-output excitation light is incident on a wavelength conversion member, and which is capable of radiating light having excellent color rendering properties. A fluorescent light source device according to the present invention is provided with a wavelength conversion member which is arranged in an excitation light incident region and radiates fluorescent light when excited by excitation light. This fluorescent light source device is characterized in that the wavelength conversion member comprises a plurality of wavelength conversion elements which are respectively arranged in a plurality of divided regions that are divided and separated from each other within the excitation light incident region, and a diffuse reflection material which is formed between wavelength conversion elements adjacent to each other and diffuses and reflects the excitation light.
