Provided is a tape cartridge which does not sacrifice mounting springiness or attachment/release smoothness. A tape cartridge (100) to be detachably mounted in a tape printing device (1) that is equipped with a cartridge mounting section (5) in which the tape cartridge (100) can be detachably mounted, and a device-side fastening part (57) which projects into the cartridge mounting section (5), fastens the mounted tape cartridge (100) in the release direction, functions as a rigid body, and has a lower edge section (286), the tape cartridge (100) being equipped with a cartridge-side fastening part (174) for fastening to the device-side fastening part (57), and linearly contacting the lower edge section (286) in the extension direction thereof while the tape cartridge (100) is mounted in the cartridge mounting section (5). |
