The present invention relates to a femtosecond laser system comprising: a plurality of fibre-optic laser amplifiers (3) each emitting an intermediate pulsed laser beam at a common wavelength; means (7) for concentrating all the intermediate pulsed laser beams, converting all the intermediate pulsed laser beams into a single final pulsed laser beam; and means (11) for synchronising the plurality of amplifiers, suitable for controlling the wavefront shifts of the intermediate laser beams, characterised in that the plurality of laser amplifiers (3) are positioned such that the intermediate pulsed laser beams propagate along radii of a sphere.
