<p>A container (1) comprises a receptacle (2) with an opening (3). In one embodiment, the container (1) is suitable for use on a commercial passenger aircraft as a life vest stowage device. A Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) tag (24) is mounted on a tag holder (16) comprising first and second parts (17, 18) that are separable from one another. The container (1) has a closure flap (5) moveable to cover an opening (3) of the container along with first and second tag receiving holes (12, 13). The closure flap (5) has a sling (14) in which the RFID tag (24) and tag holder (16) can be located with the first part (17) of the tag holder (16) inserted in the first tag receiving hole (12) and the second part (18) of the tag holder (16) inserted in the second tag receiving hole (13). Moving the closure flap (5) to the unfolded configuration moves the sling (14) away from the first and second tag receiving holes (12, 13) and causes a frangible part (28) of the RFID tag (24) to break and the RFID tag (24) to cease functioning.</p> |
