摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode hard to cause an active material layer to exfoliate or collapse (highly durable) in a short time.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises the steps of: (1) preparing paste including an active material, a binder and a solvent; (2) coating a surface of a collector with the paste; and (3) removing, by drying, the solvent from the paste applied on the collector. The step of removing the solvent by drying further includes (i) a material preheating step, (ii) a constant-rate drying step, (iii) a falling-rate drying step. In addition, the pressure of atmosphere in a predetermined latter half period including at least the end of (ii) the constant-rate drying step is set to be higher than the pressure of atmosphere in (i) the material preheating step and (iii) the falling-rate drying step. According to a preferred embodiment, the dry speed in the latter half period of (ii) the constant-rate drying step is controlled to be 18 mg/sec or less.
