PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which is formed with consideration for conducting cleaning of a nozzle formation surface of a recording head with a compact structure.SOLUTION: A recording device (1) includes: a recording head 13 which discharges dirt from a nozzle (16); a cleaning unit (26) including a sheet-like wiping member (29) which wipes a liquid and first pressing means 30 which presses the wiping member (29) to a surface (17) of the recording head 13 on which the nozzle (16) is provided; and moving means (20) which moves the cleaning unit (26) in a direction (X) that the surface (17) provided with the nozzle (16) extends. |
