PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion method that suppresses a decrease in transmission electric power.SOLUTION: There is provided an electric power conversion method that includes a plurality of primary-side ports constituted at a primary-side circuit and a secondary-side port constituted at a secondary-side circuit magnetically coupled to the primary-side circuit through a transformer, and adjusts transmission electric power transmitted between the primary-side circuit and secondary-side circuit by changing the phase difference between switching of the primary-side circuit and switching of the secondary-side circuit and also changes the duty ratio of the switching of the primary-side circuit or secondary-side circuit. The electric power conversion method includes a determination step of determining whether the value obtained by dividing the phase difference by 360 degrees is larger than the duty ratio, and a setting step of setting the duty ratio of the secondary-side circuit to equal to or larger than the value obtained by dividing the phase differences by 360 degrees when the value obtained by dividing the phase difference by 360 degrees is larger than the duty ratio. |
