PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a composite image which is easy to confirm the periphery of the self-vehicle, by a composite image generation device for generating a composite image in which photographed images obtained by a plurality of imaging units are combined.SOLUTION: An image display system acquires photographed images imaged by a plurality of cameras 21-24, respectively (S110), and judges the existence or non-existence of a disturbance or a disturbance degree which represents the degree of disturbance in each of the plurality of acquired photographed images (S120). Also, the image display system selects, from the plurality of photographed images, one or a plurality of photographed images in such a manner that an area occupied by a photographed image, having a higher disturbance degree among the plurality of photographed images, becomes narrower in an overlap region in which the imaging regions are overlapped among the plurality of photographed images (S130). Then, the image display system generates a composite image based on the plurality of photographed images, and in the overlap region, generates a composite image using the photographed image selected according to the disturbance degree (S130). |
