PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading controller which allows for appropriate detection of a corrected region in a document, even if the document is irradiated with light from one light source, in a reader.SOLUTION: A read controller for controlling a reader, including a light source and a sensor for receiving the reflected light from a document, to read the document performs control for switching the irradiation angle of the light source to the document. The switching control is performed to switch the irradiation angle of one light source. Based on the reflected light received by the sensors corresponding, respectively, to a plurality of irradiation angles thus switched, read images of the documents corresponding, respectively, to the plurality of irradiation angles are acquired. Based on the read images thus acquired, the corrected region in the document is detected. |
