Provided is a gas barrier film which can be prevented from being deteriorated over time due to the influence of environmental water even if a thin-film resin base material is used. According to the present invention, provided is a gas barrier film characterized by having an inorganic barrier layer and an overcoat layer in this order on a resin base material with a thickness of 10-50 μm and satisfying the following conditions (1) and (2): (1) the resin base material having the inorganic barrier layer is cut to 15 cm by 15 cm, and a curl value in the curl evaluation of the base material is in a range from -1 to -48 mm; and (2) the resin base material having the inorganic barrier layer and the overcoat layer is cut to 15 cm by 15 cm, the base material is held for two weeks under the environment of 40°C and 90%RH, and thereafter a curl value in the curl evaluation is in a range from -1 to -48 mm. |
