This invention provides an image-capturing device for breast examinations that is capable of reliably imaging of a breast in its entirety. Specifically, using this invention, a breast introduced into a detector ring can be reliably positioned within the imaging field of view of the device. Specifically, this image-capturing device for breast examinations is provided with a support (14) in an opening of a through-hole in the detector ring, said opening being on the opposite side from an opening on the side from which the breast being examined is introduced. Prevented by said support (14) from protruding outside the detector ring, the tip of the breast that has been introduced into the detector contacts a contact surface (14a) located within the imaging field of view. Using this invention, the breast introduced into the detector ring can be reliably positioned within the imaging field of view of the device without the tip of said breast protruding outside said field of view. |
