The invention relates to a device (1) for non-invasively determining lactate values, comprising at least one optical sensor (11), a signal excitation unit, which emits light that excites a luminescence event of the at least one optical sensor, an optical measuring electrode (3), and an evaluating unit, wherein the at least one optical sensor (11) is an oxygen sensor that is integrated in an inhalation and exhalation pipe (10) and is based in particular on a platinum-porphyrin complex or ruthenium-porphyrin complex embedded in a polymer matrix, the signal excitation unit, which is designed as an excitation light source, has a reference light source (15), and the optical measuring electrode (3), which is designed as a photodiode (4), has an excitation or measurement frequency in the range of 50 to 400 ms-1. Furthermore, both the signal excitation unit and the evaluating unit (5) are coupled to a computing unit, and the signal excitation unit and the evaluating unit are also coupled to at least one measuring electrode (3) designed as a pulse measuring electrode and to a measured-value transferring unit. The invention further relates to method in which said device is used. |
