Disclosed is a transmitting apparatus. The transmitting apparatus includes an encoding part generating an LDPC codeword by LDPC encoding based on a parity detection matrix; an interleaver interleaving the LDPC codeword; and a modulation part mapping the interleaved LDPC code word on a modulation symbol, wherein the modulation part maps a bit included in a preset bit group among multiple bit groups forming the LDPC codeword to a preset bit in the modulation symbol.
