<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation system, an information processing device, an information processing method and a program that can give assistance in understanding the original text while reducing the load on a user.SOLUTION: A translation system, which is a system having one or more computers, is equipped with an acquiring unit, a memory unit, a recognizing unit and an adding unit. The acquiring unit acquires original text information that indicates sentences to be translated and designating information that includes information designating a field of specialization to which the original text information belongs. The memory unit stores, for each of multiple fields of specialization, one or more sets of technical dictionary information to be used as a dictionary for translation of expressions used in the field of specialization. The recognizing unit recognizes, out of expressions contained in the original text information, each expression to be translated by using one or more sets of technical dictionary information matching the field of specialization designated by the designating information. The adding unit adds information indicating the results of translation of the respective expressions only to expressions recognized by the recognizing unit.</p> |
