<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly reduce parasitic capacitance of a vertical output line regardless of a row to be read in an image pickup element to facilitate timing control during reading and achieve high-speed reading of a pixel signal.SOLUTION: The image pickup element comprises: connection parts 11 each of which connects the predetermined number of pixel parts 10a in a row direction by a group output line 111; a vertical scan circuit 17 which performs on-off control of a first selection transistor included in the pixel part and a second selection transistor included in the connection part when performing reading control on the pixel parts for each row to perform connection control by sequentially connecting the pixel parts in the predetermined number of pixel parts to the vertical output line.</p> |
