<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compact tablet type portable electronic equipment capable of performing card settlement.SOLUTION: A casing 2 has a nearly rectangular shape. Portable electronic equipment 1 includes a contact type IC reading part 5, a magnetic reading part 4 and a non-contact type IC reading part 6 for performing the reading processing of a contact type IC card C2, a magnetic card C1 and a non-contact type IC card C3. The contact type IC reading part 5 includes: a contact type IC sensor; and an IC insertion groove 52 for guiding the IC chip of the contact type IC card C2 to the contact type IC sensor. The magnetic reading part 4 includes: a magnetic sensor; and a magnetic insertion groove 42 for guiding the magnetic recording part of the magnetic card C1 to the magnetic sensor. The IC insertion groove 52 and the magnetic insertion groove 42 are arranged on the side of a side surface following a lateral direction or a longitudinal direction in the casing 2, and opened to the longitudinal outside, lateral outside or thickness-direction outside of the casing 2. The non-contact type IC reading part 6 is configured to read the non-contact type IC card C3 arranged on the front surface of the casing 2.</p> |
