PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a social game, or the like capable of increasing fun and attraction of a team match by suppressing occurrence of a nonparticipation team that does not participate in a match, and capable of enhancing a sense of participation in a game of a player and motivation of the player to continue the game.SOLUTION: A method is used for controlling a game executed by a server device 100 for providing a match game among groups to which each of a plurality of players belongs, to a terminal device 22 operated by a player via a communication line 200. The method includes: a breakup step of allowing the server device 100 to break up a group in that it is determined that an activity situation of the group is in an inactive state; and a generation step of allowing the server 100 to generate a new group when it is determined that a parameter, which relates to an unaffiliated player who does not belong to any groups while including a player who belonged to the broken group, satisfies setting conditions. |
