摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single crystal making apparatus in which the accuracy of the temperature control of a crucible can be improved.SOLUTION: A single crystal making apparatus 1 comprises: a crucible 10 having a container body 11 and a lid 12; a first heat insulator 21 covering the crucible 10; a second heat insulator 22 disposed on the first heat insulator 21; a crystal growth furnace 30 housing the crucible 10, the first heat insulator 21 and the second heat insulator 22 and having a window part 34; and a thermometer 72 disposed outside the crystal growth furnace 30. A second space 224 is formed between the first heat insulator 21 and the second heat insulator 22. The first heat insulator 21 and the second heat insulator 22 are different in thermal conductivity. The single crystal making apparatus 1 satisfies relationships -0.17×X+20≤h2<20, and 26.77≤X, where x denotes the thermal conductivity of the second heat insulator 22-the thermal conductivity of the first heat insulator, and h2 denotes the height of the second space 224.</p>
