<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of suppressing deterioration of recording quality in performing recording on a medium by optimizing a medium conveying mode.SOLUTION: A control device 50 of a recording device includes: a head control part 53 for controlling the drive of a recording head 22; a conveying control part 58 for performing conveying processing in which a conveying unit 30 is operated based on a target conveying amount Y; a calculation part 56 for calculating a conveying amount calculation value by one time conveyance processing; and a correction part 57 for correcting the target conveyance amount Y based on a conveyance errorΔY, which is an error between the target conveyance amount Y and the conveyance amount calculation value generated in the previous conveyance processing.
