This inspection information management method receives selection of a first pointer as a pointer to be restored after the first pointer was selected as a pointer to be deleted, said first pointer being either a pointer which indicates an inspection location displayed on a map showing an arrangement of facilities, or a pointer which indicates an inspection location along an inspection route indicating the order in which a plurality of inspection locations are to be inspected, said first pointer being associated with accompanying information and stored. The inspection information management method then restores the first pointer and the accompanying information in such a manner as to set the accompanying information to an editable state if the map or inspection route associated with the first pointer is not subject to deletion, or set the accompanying information to an uneditable state if the map or inspection route associated with the first pointer is subject to deletion.
