Disclosed is a site location method for a trunking system. The method comprises: a terminal receives a broadcast message that is sent by a repeater and comprises adjacent site information, and stores the adjacent site information in an adjacent site list; the terminal detects whether a master repeater of a site where the terminal currently resides meets a residence condition; and if the master repeater meets the residence condition, the site where the terminal currently resides is a primary site of the terminal; otherwise, the terminal selects a primary site meeting the residence condition in the adjacent site list according to a predetermined rule. Also disclosed are a terminal and a trunking system. In the specific implementation of the present application, when the site where the terminal currently resides does not meet the residence condition, the terminal selects a primary site meeting the residence condition only from adjacent sites in the adjacent site list according to the predetermined rule, so that the mode in the prior art of performing passive roaming for all sites and waiting for a terminal test signal is avoided, less time is spent, a valid site can be rapidly located, and the time for locking a new primary site is shortened. |
