Disclosed are a method and system for controlling music playing of a mobile terminal by means of screen tapping or gesture recognition. The method comprises: when a mobile terminal enters a screen locking standby state and a music playing control operation needs to be performed, receiving an operation instruction for controlling music playing by tapping on a screen or sliding, by using a gesture, on the screen by a user; and searching for an instruction, in a preset instruction library, corresponding to the operation instruction, and controlling music playing according to the found corresponding instruction to perform a corresponding operation. |
