PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological sound examination device and a biological sound examination method capable of acquiring an index value that appropriately reflects a state of a respiratory tract while reducing the number of sensors for measuring a biological sound.SOLUTION: A biological sound examination device includes: a band power calculation part 204 for calculating band power in a predetermined section about a plurality of predetermined frequency bands based on a biological sound; a reference power calculation part for calculating reference power based on the band power of a band at least partially including any frequency in the range of 250 or higher and 1,050 Hz or lower and any frequency in the range of 1,250 or higher and 1,550 or lower Hz of the band power in the plurality of predetermined frequency bands; and an index value calculation part 504 for calculating at least one index value based on the reference power and the band power in the plurality of predetermined frequency bands. |
