PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot and a robot control method capable of effectively attracting the attention of viewers.SOLUTION: A robot comprises: a moving unit moving a base of the robot; an acquisition unit acquiring information indicating a position of a viewer; and a control unit controlling the robot to offer an explanation to the viewer within a predetermined range, determining a standing position of the robot on the basis of the position of the viewer acquired by the acquisition unit, and controlling the moving unit to realize the determined standing position of the robot. |
