A storage unit stores update data corresponding to transactions being executed and indicating updating processes yet to be reflected in a database. A control unit generates a list indicating transactions. When apparatuses executing transactions are switched from an information processing apparatus to another information processing apparatus, the control unit transmits the list to the other information processing apparatus, and migrates the update data to the other information processing apparatus based on the list.

1. An information processing apparatus that manages a database, comprising:
a memory that stores one or more sets of update data indicating updating processes yet to be reflected in the database and corresponding to one or more transactions being executed; and a processor that performs a process including: generating a list indicating the one or more transactions, transmitting the list to another information processing apparatus when switching apparatuses executing transactions from the information processing apparatus to the another information processing apparatus, and migrating the one or more sets of update data to the another information processing apparatus based on the list.
