Disclosed are a solid-state laser apparatus, and a photoacoustic measurement apparatus including the solid-state laser apparatus, wherein a distance between a laser rod center and a flash lamp center is reduced. A shielding cover (119) shields mirrors (114, 115) and an optical path of laser light from outside. A first portion (151a) of a frame body of a laser chamber is exposed from the shielding cover (119). A flash lamp housed in a frame body (151) of the laser chamber can be removed from and inserted into the first portion (151a) of the frame body. The shielding cover (119) has, at least in a part of a shielding cover region, a thin film portion (120) having a thickness less than that of other shielding cover (119) portions, said shielding cover region being on the side further toward the outside in the longitudinal direction than the first portion (151a) of the laser chamber frame body, and covering the optical path of a light beam outputted from the laser rod. |
