A method for cross-system network information interaction, and a network element of a terminal system network. The method comprises: after successfully establishing a connection with a system network or after sending a successful connection establishment message or a successful reestablishment message which carries availability indication information about historical record information about a terminal to the system network, receiving, by the terminal, a request message for acquiring terminal historical information sent by a network element of a designated system network; and sending, by the terminal, historical record information about all resided in system networks, other system networks except the system network or the designated system network to the designated system network. The embodiments of the present invention can perform definition based on historical record information about a terminal under a WLAN system, thereby realizing the cross-system interaction of historical information about a terminal of a 3GPP-WLAN system. |
