The purpose of the present invention is to suppress the transfer of heat between moulding dies and press heads during pressing. Accordingly, this device (1) for producing glass moulded bodies is provided with: a heating unit for heating moulding dies having a glass material accommodated therein; first and second press chambers which are provided with press heads (49), and in which the moulding dies are pressed by the press heads to press mould the glass material that has been heated and softened; first and second slow cooling chambers for cooling the moulding dies; and heaters which are provided to at least the heating unit, the first press chamber, and the first slow cooling chamber, and which heat the moulding dies. The press heads (49) are each provided with: a plurality of holding holes (64a) formed in a facing surface which faces the moulding dies; and a plurality of rolling elements (66) which are held in each of the holding holes (64a) so as to be capable of rolling. The plurality of rolling elements (66) are respectively held in the holding holes (64a) such that a portion of each of the rolling elements (66) protrudes from the facing surface.
