The present invention relates to a communication terminal for checking product information by using a sound signal and a control method thereof, a product transaction support server communicated with the communication terminal and a control method thereof, and a recording medium therefor. The control method of the communication terminal comprises the following steps of: extracting a product key value corresponding to a product from a sound signal inputted through a microphone; transmitting a product information request signal having the product key value to a product information providing server; receiving product information corresponding to the product key value from the product information providing server; and displaying the received product information.
