PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy coil material having excellent flatness and a method of manufacturing the magnesium alloy coil material, and further to provide a magnesium alloy member using the coil material and a method of manufacturing the magnesium alloy member.SOLUTION: A magnesium alloy coil material is obtained by coiling a plate-like material composed of a magnesium alloy in a cylindrical shape. In the magnesium alloy coil material, an internal diameter of the coil material is 1,000 mm or less. The magnesium alloy coil material satisfies the amount of warpage in a width direction described hereinafter. When a sheet material located on an outermost peripheral side out of sheet materials constituting the coil material is cut into a length of 300 mm to obtain a test piece for warpage amount and the test piece for the warpage amount is placed on a horizontal table, and the maximum distance in a vertical direction between a surface of the horizontal table and a portion of one surface of the test piece for warpage amount, the portion being not in contact with the horizontal table, in a width direction of the test piece for warpage amount is referred to as h and width of the test piece for warpage amount is referred to as w, and when the amount of warpage (%) in the width direction is defined by (maximum distance h in the vertical direction/width w of the test piece for warpage amount)×100, the amount of warpage in the width direction is 0.5% or less. |
