PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic switch with a heat-ray sensor that has high usability.SOLUTION: An automatic switch 10 with a heat-ray sensor has a heat-ray sensor part 1, an input determining part 2 for determining the presence or absence of an operation of an operation switch 2a, a controller 4, and an opening/closing unit 5 for allowing or prohibiting supply of power to an illumination load 52 on the basis of a control signal from the controller 4. The controller 4 controls the opening/closing unit 5 according to a sensor signal from the heat-ray sensor 1 so that the illumination load 52 is set to a lighting state and then set to a non-lighting state after a predetermined lighting holding time elapses. When the illumination load 52 is under the lighting state, the lighting holding time is shortened by operating the first operation switch 2a, and the control of the opening/closing unit 5 based on the sensor signal from the heat-ray sensor 1 is prohibited during a predetermined period. |
