<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a load on a virtual machine, cleared of the influences of the virtualized environment in which the virtual machine is put into execution.SOLUTION: A monitoring device is equipped with collecting means that acquires a time series of measured load values from first and second virtual machines that are put into execution in a virtualized environment including the same physical machine and virtualized environment control software, configured in the same way and performing execution of the same unit processing in the same periodicity and in different quantities, and calculating means that subtracts from the first measured load value acquired from the first virtual machine the second measured load value acquired from the second virtual machine to estimate the load on the first virtual machine, cleared of the influences of other elements in the virtualized environment.</p> |
