PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the pressing force of a pressing roller adjustable while suppressing an increase in the size of a multiple-disc transmission.SOLUTION: A multiple-disc transmission includes a pressing-force generation mechanism (132) supported by a second shaft section (105) provided on a free end of a second arm (168) rotatably in parallel to a first shaft section (101), transmitting an energizing force to a first arm (167), and generating a pressing force in the first arm (168) and the second arm (167), an action direction of the energizing force being converted by a conversion mechanism (141) converting the action direction of the energizing force of an elastic member (145) provided in a direction of a central axis of the second shaft section (105); and a pressing-force adjustment actuator (190) connected to the conversion mechanism (141) by a pair of connecting plates (192), and adjusting the pressing force by changing the direction in which the energizing force acts on the first arm (167) via the paired connecting plates (192). |
