<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modified pyranose oxidases unsusceptible to oxygen, genes thereof, vectors, transformed cells and production methods thereof, as well as methods for measuring pyranose by using the enzyme, reagent compositions and sensors for pyranose measurement.SOLUTION: It was found that modified pyranose oxidases having an excellent feature that being unsusceptible to oxygen can be obtained by substituting amino acids of a pyranose oxidase (POD). Further, it was found that by using a polynucleotide encoding the modified enzyme, the enzyme can be produced with efficiency, and that pyranose measurement unsusceptible to oxygen is enabled by using the enzyme of the invention.</p> |
