A cell capturing apparatus (100) is provided with a pre-processing part (20A) on a process liquid channel involved therein so that bubbles, if any, contained in a process liquid stay in an introduction area (24) in the pre-processing part (20A) and, therefore, the bubbles can be removed during the process liquid passes through the introduction area (24) and a discharge area (26). The cell capturing apparatus (100) is also provided with a foreign matter-removing filter (23) so that at least a part of foreign matters [matters incapable of passing through holes (21)] contained in the process liquid can be captured and, therefore, the process liquid from which the foreign matters have been removed can be supplied to a cell capturing device (1) disposed at a post stage. Thus, the supply of bubble-containing process liquid to the neighborhood of a filter (57) in the cell capturing device (1), which is disposed at the post stage of the pre-processing part (20A), can be suppressed. As a result, a processing relating to cell capturing can be carried out at a high reproducibility. |
