The present invention is provided with a step (S105) for specifying a spheroid area occupied by a spheroid in an image including a spheroid and the surrounding area thereof; a step (S106) for determining, from the image density of the spheroid area, the average value of the optical density of the spheroid and the variation of the optical density within the spheroid; a step (S107) for determining the circularity of the spheroid on the basis of the contour of the spheroid region; a step (S108) for determining the sharpness of the spheroid from the image densities of the peripheral portion and central portion of the spheroid region; and a step (S109) for substituting the average optical density, optical density variation, circularity, and sharpness into a prescribed equation to determine the degree of degradation of the spheroid. |
