This wire electric discharge machining machine (100) is equipped with: a wire electrode (1) which is fed from above a workpiece (3) to below the workpiece so as to carry out electric discharge machining thereon; a direction-changing part (8) that is disposed below the workpiece (3) and changes the traveling direction of the wire electrode (1); a collection roller (13) that collects the wire electrode (1) traveling in the changed direction; a stretchable conveyance pipe (10) that is disposed between the direction-changing part (8) and the collection roller (13) and allows the wire electrode (1) to be inserted therethrough; a feeding part (16) that feeds a machining fluid (18) into the conveyance pipe (10) such that the machining fluid (18) flows inside the conveyance pipe (10) from the direction-changing part (8) side toward the collection roller (13) side; a feeding amount information detection part (26) that detects information about the feeding amount of the machining fluid (18) fed to the conveyance pipe (10); and a control unit (25) that controls the feeding capacity of the feeding part (16) for feeding the machining fluid to the conveyance pipe (10) on the basis of the information from the feeding amount information detection part (26). |
