A drive transmission device (10) is provided with a rotating member (20), a driven member (30), a drive coupling (21), and a driven coupling (31). A plurality of drive protrusions (22) and a plurality of driven protrusions (32) are individually arranged at equal intervals in the direction of rotation (R). The drive protrusions (22) are in contact with the driven protrusions (32) such that the drive protrusions (22) fit together with the driven protrusions (32). The contact surface (41) at which the drive protrusions (22) are in contact with the driven protrusions (32) comprises an inner contact area (42) and an outer contact area (43). The inner contact area (42) is positioned on the inner side with respect to a line (LG) that represents the planned movement of the center of gravity and that follows the direction of rotation (R) that passes through the center of gravity (G) of the drive protrusions (22). The outer contact area (43) is positioned on the outer side with respect to the line (LG) that represents the planned movement of the center of gravity. Each of the inner contact area (42) and the outer contact area (43) extends toward the direction of rotation (R) so as to approach the line (LG) that represents the planned movement of the center of gravity. |
